English as a Second Language

In ESL classes, students learn to understand, speak, read, and write in English for many reasons: to get a job, get a better job, go to school, become citizens, help their children in school, or live more successfully in the United States. Class lessons are based on students’ needs and interests.  Classes are offered in person and through a remote, distance-learning option.

After completing the online registration form, students are given an assessment to determine proper placement. Open enrollment is available on a "space available" basis.
